This morning started off bright (or not) and early (definitely) for all of us.  We were up at 5AM, out the door by quarter to six, catching a bus to the train station.  All was quiet at that time, but by the time our next bus left for the airport at 6:30 the city was coming alive.  Even the umbrella sellers were up and about!!!!!  The homeless people who were sleeping in the shelter of the train station, were packing up their goods and moving on for the day, only to return again at night.

The trip to the airport was a quick one and there were no lineups when Rheaume and Cheryl checked in.  There was one snag though.  Their flight home had, for some reason, been routed through Paris and Toronto, instead of Amsterdam and Minneapolis as booked.  The anxiety level rose a bit, but the service agent working with Rheaume got them booked on a flight through Amsterdam to Calgary.  They ended up leaving just over an hour ahead of their previous departure time, and all going well, they will arrive back in Regina , two plus hours ahead of their previously scheduled arrival time.  This is good!!
