Well, this morning we woke to a cold windy rainy day. Not good for doing any exploring, so I guess it's time we did a little housekeeping and laundry. So off we headed to the laundromat. Again as with the restaurant a couple of days ago, the ladies at the laundromat, recognized us and knew we had stayed for a long time our last visit. Makes us feel like we are at home.
While our clothes were washing, we headed across the street to Chinese restaurant for lunch. It was an introduction for Rheaume and Cheryl as to how Chinese food is prepared here. Servings are smaller, more manageable, and much lighter in taste. Coatings are light, when present and sauces are not as thick and syrupy.
After the laundry was done, the rain was still coming down with rivers of water flowing down the street. So we just stayed inside. We made our supper up of leftover's and hunkered down for a night in of visiting and drinking rum in toddies or with coke, and/or drinking wine.
