Another trip to Italy has been planned. Seven weeks from today we land in Rome.
This time we are going for 8 weeks from mid January to mid March. The duration of our trip has been determined by the "60/60" rule of travel insurance which we have recently discovered. If you are over age 60 AND your trip is longer than 60 days, the cost of your insurance coverage increases dramatically AND you have a mess of paperwork to deal with!!!
The date of the start of the trip was determined by the time available to our travelling companions, my brother Rheaume and his wife Cheryl. They will be joining us for the first 2 weeks of our trip. Yeah!! We have booked 3 weeks in Rome and 5 weeks in the Naples area.
The details have all been worked out and we are ready to go - now comes the hardest part - waiting to depart!
